सरकारले पर्यटन बर्ष २०११ को तयारी घोषणा गरेलगत्तै माओवादी निकट पर्यटन मजदुर संघले आफ्नो मागको सुनुवाई नभएको भन्दै आन्दोलनको घोषणा गरेका छन् ।
गत साउन १८ मा पेश गरिएको मागपत्रमा कुनै सुनुवाई नभएको भन्दै अखिल नेपाल पर्यटन मजदुर संघले पदयात्रामा नजाने भएको हो । पर्यटन मन्त्रालय, पर्यटनसंग आबद्ध संघसंस्था तथा ब्यवसायीसमक्ष मजदुरका समस्या लिएर मागपत्र पेश गरिएकामा कुनै सम्बोधन नगरिएको आरोप उसको छ । संघले मंगलबार ट्रेकिङ ब्यवसायी संघ समक्ष पत्र पठाएर अन्नपूर्ण ट्रेकिङमा पर्यटकसंग जाने श्रमिकको न्युनतम ज्याला तथा ट्रेकिङ एजेन्सी नियमावली अनुसारको विमा तथा अन्य विषयमा पेश गरिएको मागपत्रको सुनुवाई नभएकोले संघर्षमा जाने जनाएको हो ।
फागुन मसान्तसम्म कुनै सुनुवाई नभए चैत १ गतेदेखि पर्यटन संघसंस्था तथा ब्यवसायीले ट्रेकिङमा मजदुर नपठाउन र नजान र जाने भनेर गरिएको संझौता रद्द गर्न पत्रमा भनिएको छ । चैत चार गतेसम्म पनि कुनै ब्यवस्था लागु नगरिए पर्यटन नाकाहरु कास्कीको बिरेठाँटी र लमजुङको भुलभुलेमा बसेर श्रमीक तथा मजदुरलाई फिर्ता गरिने चेतावनी संघले दिएको छ । 'पर्यटकलाई कुनै बाधा नपुर्याई संघर्ष गर्छौ' संघका अध्यक्ष धनबहादुर तामाङले भने, 'मागको सुनुवाई नभएसम्म नेपाली श्रमीक तथा मजदुरलाई पदयात्रामा जान दिदैनौ ।'
श्रम मन्त्रालय, श्रम कार्यालय, प्रशासनलगायतलाई बोधार्थ दिइएको पत्रमा गाईडको न्युनतम ज्याला दैनिक १ हजार चारसय, सेर्पा, क्याम्पिङ गाईडको एकहजार एकसय, सहयोगी र कुकको एकहजार, स्पियर सेर्पा किचेन ८ सय, सहयोगी सातसय सुख्खा भए एकहजार दुईसय हुनुपर्ने माग गरिएको छ । तर अहिले दैनिक चारदेखि ५ सय रुपैयामात्र दिने गरेको तामाङले बताए । यसैगरी न्युनतम १५ लाखको दुर्घटना विमा, पर्यटकसंग जाने मजदुरलाई अनिवार्य करार, मजदुरको सामाजिक सुरक्षा कोष, न्युनतम ४० प्रतिशत मजदुर स्थानीय हुनुपर्ने, परिचय पत्रलगायतका माग पत्रमा छन
